James Richard Angel

ANGEL, JAMES “Jim” Richard – He went home to be with his Lord and Savior after peacefully passing away with his loved ones by his side the evening of Tuesday December 27, 2022. Jim is survived by his wife of 31 years to Jackie Angel (nee Arnett); Loving father of Veronica (Troy) Brown, Christine (Ray) Hodge, Heather (Steve) McKenzie, Jessica (Travis) Henry, and Gabrielle (Matt) Ollendick; Grandfather of Megan, Olivia, Morgan, Landon, Nina Beth, Allison, Dalton, Stephen Jr., Michael, Ashley, Maddie Sue, Suzannah, Meeka, Keaton, Haydn, Payton, Bryce, and Reagan; Great grandfather of Koleton, McKenzie, Kylie, Kaylin, Kamden, and Kane; Dear brother of Eldora (the late John) Givens, the late Theolla (Jim) Parker, and Margie(Mike) Osborn; Beloved son of the late Kellie and Nina Angel; Jim was born at home in Corbin, Kentucky on November 13, 1946, the youngest of 3 older sisters. After the family moved to Ohio he attended and graduated from Blanchester High School. There he bought his first of many Corvettes and loved driving it and a little racing occasionally. Jim was an avid softball player and spent many happy days on the ballfield with family and friends. He loved to go camping and loved being outdoors. He loved the Lord and faithfully served him over the years in any way needed and was happy to share his faith with everyone he met. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. There will be visitation at Hill Station Baptist Church 7100 Hill Station Road Goshen, Ohio 45122 Saturday December 31, 2022, from 10:00 AM until time of funeral service at 11:30 AM. Graveside service will be at Goshen Cemetery Tuesday January 3, 2023, at 10:00 AM.
