James Frank Auel Sr., age 88, resident of Amelia. Husband of the late Thelma (nee English) Auel; father of Beverly (life partner Ed Crouch) Brown, the late Barbara Baumgardt, Brenda Combs and James (Dianna) Auel Jr. Dear brother of Jean Casteltine and Joan Hofstetter. Also survived by nine grandchildren, many great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren.
Preceded in death by his parents Harry & Anna (nee Murrer) Auel, sister Velma Browning and brothers Fritz, Louis and Harry Auel Jr..
Jim was a Korean War Era Veteran and served his country proudly. He retired from John Morrel meat packing.
Visitation Thursday November 10th 9:30 – 10:30 AM. Funeral at 10:30. Burial with Military Honors to follow at Plainview Cemetery, Newtonsville, OH.
