James Michael Cochran

Cochran, James M., began a 35 year career with the Glynn Co. Fire Dept., Brunswick, GA, in 1973, as a firefighter, EMT and a paramedic. His passion for helping others was evident by all as he moved up in rank to Deputy Chief. He is the beloved son of the late James A. and Irene G. Mueller Cochran; devoted father of Jay Cochran; dear brother of Anita Kochis (Chuck), Shirley Gossett (the late Bill), the late Mary Culp (Greg), Betty McCann (the late Joe) and Ronnie Smith; dear friend of Terry West, Teresa Short and Mark Hamill; also survived by his firefighting family from the Glynn Co. Fire Dept. and his loving canine companion Stoney. He passed away, Thursday, June 21, 2018, in Milford, OH, at the home of his niece, Brenda Horman, RN, who cared for him lovingly and selflessly until his last moment. He was a resident of Brunswick, GA. Memorial mass, St. Louis Church, 210 N. Broadway, Owensville, OH, Tuesday, June 26th, 10:00 AM. Inurnment, Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Memorials to Glynn Co.
