James W. Ertel

Ertel, James W. of Cincinnati, Ohio - known to many as Bill, Ertel or Jim passed away at the
age of 79 on Wednesday, May 12, 2021 surrounded by his family. Born on April 10, 1942 to the
late Elmer W. and Clara B. (nee Farrell) Ertel. Dear brother to Delores (nee Ertel) Nordmeyer.
Loving father of Jamie W. (Micha) Ertel, Jodie K. (Greg) Nause. Grandfather to Zachary C.
(Paige) Ertel, Paige M. (Jason) Fehring, Kraig D. Ertel, Johnathon G. Nause and Jackson W.
Nause. Devoted uncle to his nieces and nephew. Dear friend to Connie Sams, along with many
other friends and family. He will be greatly missed and pleasantly remembered. Visitation will
take place at the Carlisle - Clark Funeral Home, 203 Eastern Ave. - Carlisle, KY 40311 on
Sunday May 16, 2021 from 4:00 - 6:00 PM, followed by an evening service. Burial of choice,
will be cremation. In lieu of flowers the family requested donations be made to St. Judes - 501
St. Judes Place, Memphis, TN 38105
