James greatest joy was spending time with his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren who he loved with his whole heart. He was their anchor-steady, strong and constant through every season exemplifying what unconditional love truly looks like.

In addition to his family, James was very active in his church, Grace Baptist Church, where he was a founding member.
