James Richard Hazard

James R., life-long friend and devoted husband of the late Evelyn Gant Hazard died April 2, 2017 at the home of his family. Born in 1927, Jim was the dear son of the late Ruth and Joseph Hazard. Brothers Robert Hazard (late Doris) and William (Norma) Hazard preceded him in death. Jim leaves behind brother-in-law and childhood friend Ralph Lay (late Eleanor), sister-in-law Helen Lohr and brother-in-law Frank Lohr who helped care for him during the past two years and many nieces and nephews along with great nieces and nephews who loved him dearly. A heart-felt thanks to MAC Chair Volleyball team members and friends at the Music Café who enriched his last years by including him in their activities.
Friends may celebrate Jim's life by gathering at the Leming House located at 5951 Buckwheat Road Milford, OH on Sunday, April 23 from 1pm until 3 pm.
