James John Hitch

Hitch, James J., beloved husband of the late Alice Schmidt Hitch and Francis Niziolek Hitch, devoted father of Cathy Lawson, Francie Berning and the late Becky Lawson, Bobby Hitch and Jimmy Hitch, caring step-father of Linda Switzer and Danny Niziolek, loving grandfather of 9, he is also survived by numerous great grandchildren and great great grandchildren, he was preceded in death by his twin Jack Hitch. James was a US Navy and US Army veteran. He passed away on Monday, November 23, 2020, age 90, residence Stonelick Township, OH. He enjoyed life to it's fullest. In his short scuba diving career he was just short of 1000 dives. The family will receive friends at Evans Funeral Home, Milford on Friday, November 27, from 9:30 - 10:30 AM followed by the funeral service at 10:30 AM. He will be buried at St. Louis Cemetery, Owensville, with military honors.
