James Allen Kagrise, passed away peacefully on September 27, 2026, at the age of 73. Born on December 5, 1952, in Cincinnati, OH. Jim spent his life in Milford, OH. 

Jim was a cancer survivor whose passion for classic cars was matched only by his commitment to helping others. An advocate for those in recovery, Jim worked to establish additional meeting locations and resources for individuals seeking recovery, a testament to his deep compassion and commitment to fostering supportive environments.

Jim is survived by his children, Sarah, Dana, Jared (Kari), and James (Jessica Matsuzaka) Kagrise. He also leaves behind his granddaughters, Kendall and Reese, his great-niece, Margaux, as well as his loving sister, Linda (Stephen) Brightwell. He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas R. and Loretta Kagrise, and his brother, Thomas G. Kagrise.

Keeping with Jim's wishes no services will be held. His final wish was to help others by donating his body to the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine Anatomical program.

Those wishing to honor Jim's memory are invited to make a donation to a charity of their choice. In this time of reflection, we remember Jim not only for his many accomplishments, but for sense of humor and belief in the potential for change.
