James Eugene Klaus Sr.

James "Jim" E. Klaus Sr. was born on December 9, 1950, in Cincinnati, OH to the late Eugene P. and Betty (nee Toomey) Klaus.

Jim is survived by his beloved wife of 50 years Susan Mary (nee Walsh) Klaus; Loving father of James Eugene Klaus Jr. (Suzette DeSalvo) and Christa Renee Klaus; Cherished grandfather of Madison; Brother of Gary (Tina) Klaus, Linda Kahermanes, and Karen Kellerman; brother-in-law to Edward (Pam) Walsh, Judy (the late Joe) Smyth, John (Susan) Walsh, Dan (Julie) Walsh, and Tom Walsh. Jim is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and dear friends.

Jim will be remembered for his warm and friendly nature, as he never met a stranger and showed kindness to all. His enthusiasm and passion for golf and classic muscle cars were contagious, bringing joy to those around him. As a proud Vietnam veteran, James dedicated himself to serving his country with honor and bravery. His love and devotion to his wife, Susan, as well as his children and grandchild, were unwavering and brought immense happiness to his family. Jim will be lovingly remembered and greatly missed.

Jim passed away on May 16, 2024, at the age of 73. Resident of Milford, OH. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 22, 2024, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Evans Funeral Home - 741 Center St. Milford, OH, 45150. A mass will be held the following morning on Thursday, May 23, 2024, beginning at 10:00 AM at St. Andrew Catholic Church - 552 Main St, Milford, OH 45150.
