James H May, Iii

James “Bud” Harvey May III, passed away at the age of 65, on March 16th, 2022. His loved ones were by his side all the way until the lord took him home. He was born to Shirley and James II of Milford, Ohio on December 10, 1956. Bud joined the United State Navy on April 18th, 1974, during the drawdown of the Vietnam War. Serving honorably aboard the USS John F. Kennedy (CV-67) until April 14th, 1978. Bud received the National Defense Service Medal and the Navy Battle Efficiency Ribbon and received an honorable discharge for his service. Bud worked in the mechanical beverage industry for many years, starting with Coors Brother Co, Dairy products and then receiving a position at the Coca-Cola bottling company where he advanced into management. Bud finished his career at State Farm and retired. Bud and his wife have resided in Miami Townships, Ohio and enjoyed many wonderful years there with family and friends. He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Melodie; daughter, Melissa; sons, Corey and Casey; Grandchildren, Hayleigh, Rory, Avery, Hudson, and Logan. Memorial service will be held at Evans Funeral Home on Saturday March 26th, 2022, at noon with visitation starting at 11 AM.
