James Michael McCord Sr.

James Michael McCord Sr. was born on October 22, 1932, to the late William and Marjorie (nee Rice) McCord. James was the beloved husband of 50 years to the late Lois A. McCord (nee Hall); Loving father of Tim (Rhonda) McCord, Kimberly (Pat) Rowe, and the late James Michael McCord Jr. who is survived by his wife Marsha; Cherished grandfather of Bryant, Hayden, Morgan, Erin (Albert), Josh, Lindsay (Eric), Tim Jr., Jacob, Justin, Briana, and Tara; great-grandfather of Ezra, Macy, Nora, Audrey, Liam, Ajia, Lilly, and Jack; Brother of Midge (Jerry) Howard and the late Bill McCord. James is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.

James was a kind-hearted man who never met a stranger. He loved to talk and interact with everyone his path crossed. James was a man of God and was involved with the Fairfax Church of the Nazarene. He worked for many years at Cincinnati Milacron as an electrician. James loved spending time with his family. He will be lovingly remembered and greatly missed.

James passed away on March 15, 2024, at the age of 91. Resident of Fairfax. A visitation will be held Wednesday, March 20, 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Fairfax Church of the Nazarene - 3802 Watterson Road, Cincinnati, OH 45227. Funeral service will begin at 2:00 PM. Burial to follow at Rest Haven Memorial Park - 10209 Plainfield Rd, Cincinnati, OH 45241.
