James H. Neff beloved husband of 62 years to Joan C. (nee Scheve) Neff; loving father of Carolyn (Ray) Naegele, Cheryl (Ken) Smith, Christopher (Kimberly) Neff, James Neff, Jonathan (Nancy) Neff, Joanie (Mike) Bolling, Russell (Suzannah) Neff, Kenneth (Rhonda) Neff, Samuel (Cindy) Neff, Charles (Anita) Neff, Joshua Neff and the late Jeanette Neff; cherished Grandpa of many grandchilden and great grandchildren; dear brother of Alice Byrd. He was preceded in death by his parents, Samuel and Bessie (nee Owens) Neff; and sisters, Madaline Wallace, Hannah Mallot and Mabel Berry. Went home to be with the Lord on Sunday January14, 2018. Age 81. Residence Batavia, OH. Visitation will be held at the Evans Funeral Home, 741 Center St., Milford on Thursday January 18th from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Philomena Church, Stonelick - Williams Corner Rd., Batavia, OH at 10:00 AM on Friday January 19th. Burial will follow at Graceland Memorial Gardens in Milford, OH. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be given to St. Louis School, PO Box 85, Owensville, OH 45160.
