James Arthur Neidich, 85, of Goshen, passed away on January 21, 2019, beloved husband of 65 years to Patricia Gilkison Neidich, devoted father of Mike (Vickie) Neidich of Chattanooga, TN, Jim Neidich of Indiana, PA, Kathy (Paul) Singleton of Loveland, OH and Maria (John) Jackson of Blanchester, OH, loving grandfather of Michael Paul, Melanie, Bethanie, Matthew, Leah, Joshua, Jonathan, Morgan, Jessica, Johnny, Elijah, Megan, Levi, Danielle and the late Greg, great-grandfather of 28, brother of the late Joe Neidich, dear uncle of Joe Neidich, David Neidich, John Neidich and Cheryl Mowry.
Jim was born in 1933 in Cincinnati, Ohio. He was born to parents Michael and Marie Magdalena Kopf Neidich. Jim proudly served his country in the U.S. Army and was stationed at Camp Losey in Puerto Rico. Jim retired from Dravo Corporation after 36 years of service. He enjoyed woodworking, metal detecting, painting, wood carving, hunting and played multiple instruments. The greatest gift he ever gave his family was when he accepted Jesus Christ as his personal Savior in 1970 giving them perfect assurance of where he will be spending eternity.
Family will receive friends at Evans Funeral Home in Milford, on Friday, January 25th from 10 AM until time of funeral services beginning at 11:30 AM. Burial will follow at Plainview Cemetery in Newtonsville.
