James “Jim” Ralph Pfister, 75, of Cincinnati, Ohio passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 4, 2022.
Born to John and Dorothy Pfister in 1947, Jim was raised to be a man of integrity that lived to serve the Lord and encouraged others to do the same.
Jim was a brother to JoAnn (Archie) Gunter, the late Carol (Earl) Hamilton, the late Mary (Al) Hayes, and twin brother to the late Johnny Pfister.
He was the beloved husband of Connie L. (Truesdell) for 51 years. He was the loving father of Jon-Paul (Colleen) Pfister, Amber (Matt) Wheeler and the late Michael James Pfister. He was Gramps to his four grandchildren, Joseph (12), Ruby (11), James (10), and Felix (8).
Jim served in the US Army during the Vietnam War and spent much of his professional career in various areas of the trucking industry. Anyone would say he left an impression and had a way to brighten the toughest days.
Jim had a contagious smile and was known for his fun-loving humor, big heart and caring personality.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Monday, October 10, 2022 at the Fairfax Church of the Nazarene, 3802 Waterson Road., Cincinnati, Ohio, with the funeral service starting at 12 p.m. A graveside service will take place at Flag Spring Cemetery in Newtown, Ohio, immediately following the service.
