James B. Tyner, a dedicated pipefitter born on June 27, 1939, in Cincinnati, OH, passed away on June 4, 2024. He was a proud and skilled member of the Marines, serving his country with honor.
Throughout his life, James found joy in many hobbies - from his love of motorcycles to his passion for sailing and scuba diving. An exceptional mechanic, he could fix just about anything and took pride in his craftsmanship. However, above all, James cherished spending time with his beloved family, especially his cherished spouse Joy Tyner and their sons Jay and Jan Tyner. The great-grandchildren held a special place in his heart, and his love for them was immeasurable.
James is survived by his wife of 63 years, Joy Lee Tyner, his grandchildren, Jason (Kassie) Tyner, Mickey Tyner, Jessica (Steven) Newman and Jenna (Ryan) Hamilton, great-grandchildren, Joel, Ellie, Natalie, Lilly and Zadie and his daughter-in-law Cheri Tyner. He is preceded in death by his two sons Jay B. Tyner and Jan Lee Tyner.
The family will receive friends at Evans Funeral Home, Milford, on Monday, June 10th from 6 PM until time of services beginning at 7 PM.
James B Tyner will be dearly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. May his legacy of love, dedication, and service live on in the hearts of those who were touched by his kindness and generosity.
