Jane Carpenter

Jane Carpenter, age 74 of Goshen died at her residence, June 28, 2016. She was born February 14, 1942 in Cincinnati, the daughter of Byron Elliot Edward and Lola Belle Branyon Roark. She was employed at the Suburban Propane Company for over 20 years and a lunch monitor at the Goshen Grade School. She was a member of Goshen O.E.S. #382. She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Ralph Carpenter, whom she married May 14, 1960, daughter, Kim Carpenter, sister, Janis (Floyd) Reynolds, brother, Jim (Linda) Roark, brothers-in-law, Robert Reynolds, Steve Kelley, Donald Carpenter, Danny (Sandy) Carpenter, sister-in-law, Dottie (Lytle) Brown and many nieces and nephews. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Doug Carpenter, sisters Jackie Reynolds and Judy Kelley. Services will be held 10:00AM, Saturday, July 2, 2016 at the Goshen United Methodist Church. Reverend Dave Phaneuf will officiate. Burial will follow in Graceland Memorial Gardens on Deerfield Rd. in Miami Township. Family and friends may visit 6:00 to 8:00PM Friday at the Goshen United Methodist Church. O.E.S. Chapter #382 services will be held 7:45PM on Friday evening. In lieu of flowers her family requests memorials to Hospice of Cincinnati c/o Bethesda Foundation Inc.
