Jane F. Chalfonte

Jane F. Chalfonte age 95, of Milford passed away Saturday, May 26, 2018 at the Brookwood Retirement Community. She was born January 5, 1923 in Cincinnati, the daughter of James Carlton and Lola Maybelle (nee Brown) Spence. She received her Bacholar's Degree in Education from the University of Cincinnati and taught elementary grades in Indian Hill, Owensville and the Newtonsville areas until she and Jasper started their family. Her husband of 69 years, Jasper Cleveland Chalfonte Jr. preceeded her in death August 7. 2016. She is survived by her daughters; Cindy Chalfonte, Melinda (Scott) Evans, grandchildren Adam Evans, Amanda Baer, Katie Anderson, Emily West, great grandchildren; Maxwell Baer and Sophia Anderson. A Memorial Graveside Service is planned for Tuesday, June 5, 2018 at the Greenlawn Cemetery in Milford. Rev. Brian Wikoff will officiate. Her family requests memorials in her honor be made to the Animal Rescue Fund Inc. 85 Lucy Run Rd, Amelia, OH 45102
