Jane Croswait

Jane P. Croswait, age 67, of Waverly, formerly of Milford passed away surrounded by her family September 9, 2023. She was born in Cincinnati the daughter of Carl Q. and Bertha (nee Williams) Topie. Jane was a graduate of Milford High School. She received her undergraduate degree from Shawnee State and her Master’s degree from Ohio University. She was a member of the Calvary United Methodist Church, and was employed as a Record Management Technician at the Portsmouth Gaseous Diffusion Plant. Her husband, Michael Croswait, preceded her in death June 14, 2011. Jane is survived by her siblings; Charles (Rosemary) Topie, Kathleen (the late Cookie) Cook and James (Julie) Topie, along with many loving nieces and nephews and great nieces and great nephews. Services will be 11:00 AM, Monday, September 18, 2023 with visitation 10:00 to 11:00AM at the Evans Funeral Home, 741 Center St. Milford, Ohio 45150. Pastor David Burriss will officiate. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery in Milford. Jane requests memorials be made to The Prime Thyme Garden Club, Judy Schmitt, the Treasurer, 407 Vine St. Waverly, Ohio 45690 or the Calvary United Methodist Church, 107 West Third St., PO Box 425, Waverly, Ohio 45690. A Celebration of Jane's Life will be held at 12 noon, Saturday, September 23, 2023 at the Calvary United Methodist Church in Waverly.
