Obituary

Jason Glynn Bonfield, age 57, of Milford, Ohio, passed away on July 30, 2026. Jason was born on May 2, 1969, in Cincinnati, Ohio to James Glynn Bonfield and Janet Sue Bonfield (nee Tarvin). He graduated Milford High School and attended Western Kentucky University.

He was a parishioner of Saint Philomena's Catholic Church. He loved animals, nature, music, and spending time doing anything with his daughter Charlie Sue. People who knew him will remember him as loving and giving, often passing out candy treats hidden in his breast pocket.

Jason is survived by his loving mother, Janet Sue Bonfield; his sister Marcella (Thomas) Meyer; his devoted daughter, Charlotte Suzanne; adoring nieces and nephews Sean (Sam) Cameron, Kiley (Samuel) Sharpe, Liam Cameron and Paige Meyer. He was also very proud to be known as Grandpa Squirrel to Nellie Jean Scheeler (daughter of Jason's step-daughter Vandela Vassil). There were many other family members, cousins, and friends who will greatly miss him.

He was preceded in death by his father, James Glynn Bonfield.

Family and friends are invited to honor and celebrate Jason's life: Visitation will be on Saturday, August 8 from 1 - 3 PM at Evans Funeral Home, 741 Center St., Milford, OH 45150.
