Jason Swearingen

Jason Scott Swearingen age 45, passed away suddenly on December 28, 2023.

Jason was born on July 15, 1978, to Robert Sr. and Valorie Swearingen. He married Michele VonStrohe

on June 13, 2009.

Jason is survived by his parents Robert Sr. and Valorie Swearingen (nee Oaks). His wife Michele

Swearingen. Siblings; Kathryn (David) Parry, Andrea Richter, Adam Swearingen, Robert (Wanda Sue)

Swearingen Jr. Nieces and Nephews; Michael, Jonathon, Valorie, Samantha, Derek, Joseph, and Lily.

Father-in-law Edward VonStrohe. Jason is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and his

beloved dog, Oreo.

Preceded in death by his grandparents Edsil and Ella Oaks, Ernest and Estilina Swearingen. Aunt Teresa

Oaks and cousins Chad White, Amy Oaks and Jessica Crowe.

Jason enjoyed bowling, video games, family games, and mini golf with his family. He loved sports, fishing

and playing the lottery. Jason and Michele enjoyed going to rock concerts together, sometimes traveling

to Columbus to attend music festivals. Jason was generous and caring; he would do anything for those

he loved and if a stranger asked for help, he would help them without question. He will be dearly and

deeply missed by his family and friends.

Visitation for Jason will be held on Thursday, January 4, 2024, from 10:30 AM until time of service at

12:30 PM at Evans Funeral Home (1944 State Route 28 Goshen, OH 45122) with burial to follow.

Pallbearers for Jason are: Robert Swearingen Jr., Adam Swearingen, Michael Swearingen, Jonathon

Swearingen, Derek Smith, Clayton Oaks Jr., Darrion Lopez, Owen VonStrohe, and Brandon Prewitt.
