In various roles, Jean dedicated herself as a nurse to Good Samaritan Hospital and its College of Nursing for over 50 years. Through this, she impacted the field of nursing in more ways than can be imagined. As a nurse educator, Jean taught her students to venerate the dignity and significance of life. She was an effective communicator who always felt comfortable vocalizing her opinions. Prior to the end of her career she was named Professor Emeritus at the college. Even after retirement, she still was involved in the nursing community and became an Honorable Alumni of Good Samaritan College.

Jean's legacy in education didn't end with her retirement - she continued to teach those she loved about the importance of family, love, and compassion. The precious romance she shared with her husband was visible to all in her life. Together they shared in the joys of raising their six beloved children, who will now carry on the spirit and memories of their mother in their hearts.

Jean impacted the world in more ways than can ever be known. What is certain, however, is that her colleagues, friends, and family cherished the moments spent with her. She will be deeply missed.
