Jean B. Smith

Jean B. Smith was born on September 9, 1931, to the late Joseph and Edith (nee Dunlap) Polking. Beloved wife of 56 years to the late Jack N. Smith; Loving mother of Chad N. (Heather Travis-Smith) Smith; Grandmother to Joshua Smith, Tamara Smith, Morgan Travis, and Phoebe Travis. Dear sister to Tom Polking and the late Ray Polking.

Jean had the gift of conversation and was a true social butterfly. She enjoyed having conversations with complete strangers and could find a new friend everywhere she would go. She liked to play tennis with her husband Jack. Jean had a passion for photography and loved taking pictures with her digital camera, but in her free time you could also find her on Facebook. Jean was an outgoing, bubbly, and positive woman. She beamed just like a sunflower, her favorite flower. Jean will be pleasantly remembered and greatly missed.

Jean passed away on September 3, 2023, at the age of 91. Resident of Milford, Ohio. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 13, 2023, from 5:30 PM to 6:30 PM at Evans Funeral Home – 741 Center St, Milford, OH 45150. The memorial service will begin at 6:30 PM.
