Jeanette Rose Childs (nee Sorgs), of Goshen, passed away December 19, 2017 at the age of 79. she was the wife of the late Spencer W. Childs Sr., devoted mother of Donna (the late Dan) Beckstedt, Spencer (Denise) Childs Jr., Gene (Tricia) Childs and Dave Faw, loving grandmother of Heather Beckstedt, Danny (Crystal) Beckstedt, Halie (Tyler) Clemons and Emily Childs, great-grandmother of Steven Beckstedt, Brayden Beckstedt and Emma Beckstedt, dear sister of James (Mary) Sorgs and Harry (Freda) Sorgs. Also survived by other family members and a host of friends. Family will receive friends at Evans Funeral Home, Goshen, Friday, December 22nd from 10:30 AM until time of funeral services beginning at 12:30 PM. Burial will follow at Goshen Cemetery.
