Jeanine D. Keith

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Jeanine D. Keith, who left us peacefully on June 20, 2026, just days shy of her 85th birthday. Born on June 27, 1941, in Cincinnati, Ohio, Jeanine was a cherished presence in the lives of all who knew her and resided in Goshen, Ohio, where she created a loving home filled with warmth, laughter, and an abundance of love for her family.

A devoted mother to Denise Muddiman, Mark Johns, the late Mike Johns and Jenny Cutshaw. She will be deeply missed by her grandchildren: Christie Reed, Micheal Jason Johns, Joshua Johns, Heather Hornung, Chad Johns, Jerod Muddiman, Rodney Michael Arnett, Joseph Muddiman and Jenalyn Brown. She took great joy in being a great-grandmother, forming unbreakable bonds with Dylan, Jackson, Katelyn, Nicholas, Poet, Bailey, Xavier, William, Cali, Gatlin, Jolene, Colton and Eleanor, who will forever carry her love in their hearts. She is also survived by her dear sister-in-law Diane Keith.

Jeanine is preceded in death by her husband, Hobert "Jack" Keith, her son Mike Johns, her parents Rodney Huesman and Violet Jeanette Huesman and her brother Thomas Huesman, who together await her in eternal rest.

Jeanine was known for her nurturing spirit, always ready to lend a helping hand to those in need. Her humorous yet firm demeanor made her an indelible figure in her family and community. With a passion for cooking, she became famous for her chicken and dumplings and delightful chili. Jeanine had a unique flair for life, which shone through in her love for getting her hair done weekly and her unwavering enthusiasm for Westerns and game shows, especially "The Price is Right."

An ardent lover of family gatherings, Jeanine took pride in her home and cherished the moments she spent with loved ones. She had a special fondness for her baby dog, Prince, and held a fierce loyalty to her family and faith.

Funeral services will be held on June 25, 2026, at Evans Funeral Home in Goshen, with visitation beginning at 11:30 AM, followed by the service at 1:00 PM. Friends and family are invited to join in celebrating Jeanine's remarkable life and her unwavering spirit of love and kindness. Jeanine will be laid to rest at Graceland Memorial Gardens, where she will remain surrounded by the beauty of nature and the love she shared with her family.

Jeanine D. Keith's memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who loved her. May we continue to honor her legacy of kindness and love as we gather together to celebrate the incredible woman she was.
