Jeannette M Steinhaus

Jeannette M. Steinhaus, longtime resident of Milford, OH, passed away peacefully in her home on Wednesday, May 17, 2023, after a courageous four-year battle with pancreatic cancer.

Jeannette was born in New Castle, PA on July 21, 1948, to Joseph and Louise Berkos. She will always be remembered and loved by her family and friends for being a devoted and dedicated wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and daughter.

Jeannette graduated from Boardman High School in 1966 and retired in 2015 after a long career at Strauss & Troy as a paralegal. She was an avid golfer and aside from spending time with her grandkids, this was her passion.

Thank you to her many dedicated friends who were constant cheerleaders, nurse's aides and Uber drivers that helped carry her through this journey.

Jeannette lost her loving husband of 37 years, Bill, in October of 2022. She leaves behind her daughter, Cyndi (Craig) Meyer, sons, Ron (Amy) Sprinkle and Jim (Molly) Sprinkle, adoring grandchildren Addison, Hunter, Ella, Oliver, Ava, Mia, Hayden, Kylee, Mac and Mason, and sister, Merceda (Bob) Saleman.

A memorial mass is being planned for a later date.
