In loving memory of Jenette Baker, a cherished soul who touched the lives of many, was born on January 6, 1946, in Hazard, Kentucky. Jenette passed away peacefully on April 25, 2024.
Throughout her life, Jenette was known for her unwavering devotion to her family, a trait that defined her essence. She found immense joy in helping others and shared her kindness generously. Her fondness for music led her to be an active member of her church choir.
An avid cook, Jenette delighted in preparing meals for her loved ones, filling their hearts and stomachs with love and warmth. Her green thumb was evidenced by the beautiful blooms that adorned her outdoor spaces, a reflection of her nurturing spirit and love for nature. With each passing season, she would transform her home into a festive wonderland, spreading joy and cheer to all who crossed her threshold.
Jenette is survived by her beloved children, Sherri Donohoe, Ken (Amber) Baker, and Scott Baker, her 8 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren, who will carry on her legacy of love and compassion. She was preceded in death by her husband, Raleigh Baker as well as her parents, Richard and Geraldine Turner.
Her family will receive friends at Evans Funeral Home, 1944 State Route 28, Goshen, on Wednesday, May 1st from 10 AM until time of the funeral service beginning at 11 AM. The burial will follow at Graceland Memorial Gardens.
