Jerald Edward Womick

WOMICK, Jerald E, 86, of Loveland, Oh, passed away early Thursday morning January 28th, 2021 at Hospice of Cincinnati, OH. He was the husband of Nancy R. Womick who he met in High School in Anna, IL. They shared 60 years of marriage together. Born in Paducah, Ky in 1934, he was the son of Frank and Lucille Womick most notably from Anna - Jonesboro, IL. He graduated the Anna - Jonesboro Community High School in Southern Illinois and the Embry Riddle Aeronautical University in Florida with an A&P Mechanics license. He was a life-long aviator as a Flight Engineer, Private Pilot and Federal Aviation Administration Senior Inspector. He was a member of the Aldersgate United Methodist Church in Huber Heights, OH, the First Baptist Church in Johnstown, OH and most recently the First Baptist Church of Milford, OH. He will be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather, great - grandfather, brother, and friend to all who knew him. He enjoyed spending time with his immediate family and his church family. He is survived by his sons Richard B. Womick and Michael B. Womick, sisters Shirley Barringer and Judy Roth, grandchildren Joshua Womick, Jessica Womick, Kayla Smith, Joseph Womick, Abby Womick, Mitchell Womick, Jonah Womick and great grandson Thomas Archer Womick. He was predeceased by his loving wife Nancy. The funeral service will be held on Tuesday February 2nd, 2021 at the First Baptist Church of Milford 1367 Woodville Pike Milford, OH 45150 with interment at the Graceland Memorial Gardens 5989 Deerfield Rd. Milford, OH 45150. The viewing and visitation will be held from 11am to 12pm at which time the funeral service will begin. Memorial correspondence can be sent to the First Baptist Church of Milford.
