**Obituary for Jeremiah Edward Vance**
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Jeremiah Edward Vance, fondly known as "Jere," who left us on March 19, 2025, at the age of 47. Born on April 20, 1977, in Cincinnati, Ohio, Jere was a beloved son, brother, grandson, and friend, whose spirit and passion for life will be greatly missed.
From a young age, Jeremiah developed a deep appreciation for hard work, a trait that served him well in his career as an assembler in the scaffolding erection industry. He proudly worked for Hanson Scaffolding, where he found joy in his role and cherished the camaraderie with his boss, Aaron, and his coworkers. His dedication to his craft was only rivaled by his love for tinkering on lawn mowers, a hobby that allowed him to bring a little bit of creativity to his hands-on work.
Jere was an avid football fan, often found cheering for his favorite teams during the season. His passion for the game was matched only by the loyalty he showed to his dog, Titan, who was always by his side, whether they were watching TV or enjoying time outdoors.
Jeremiah is survived by his loving mother, Rebecca Vance; father, Donald Vance; brother, Jonathan Vance; sister, Faith Bolton; grandmother, Sharon Hughes; and his cherished nephew, Wyatt Vance. The bonds he forged with his family were a testament to the kindness and warmth he radiated throughout his life.
A memorial service will be held to celebrate Jere's life on March 25, 2025, at 7:00 PM at Evans Funeral Home in Goshen. Prior to the service, family and friends are invited to visit and share their memories from 6:00 PM. We encourage those who knew Jeremiah to come together to honor his legacy and remember the joy he brought to our lives.
Rest easy, Jere. You will forever be in our hearts.
