Jerry D. Witt, a beloved father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and friend, passed away peacefully on January 1, 2026, at the age of 88. Born on February 2, 1937, in Louellen, Kentucky.

He is survived by his devoted son, Jerry Steven (Sharon) Witt; his cherished daughter, Dorothy "Dee" (Robert "Bo") Bushelman; and his adored grandchildren-Charley Nicole, Blake, Devon, Derrick, Alyssa, Jena, Jacob, and Daniel. Jerry also leaves behind a loving legacy as a great-grandfather and is remembered fondly by his sister, Betty Blanton. Known for his kind heart and selflessness, Jerry was a man of quiet nature who preferred the simple joys of life. He found solace in fishing, nurturing his garden, and spending time with his cherished dog, Judge Judy. He had a notable work ethic, retiring three times from E.C.
