Jesse Wayne Quillen

Jesse Wayne Quillen, a loving husband, devoted father, and proud Army veteran, passed away on November 11, 2024. Born on June 20, 1966, Jesse was a man of many passions. From his love for fishing and camping to his dedication to his family, Jesse lived a full life centered around faith, the great outdoors, and the joy of simple moments.

Throughout his years, Jesse found solace in the tranquility of nature and cherished the time spent with his wife, Judy, and children, Jessica, Nathan, and Abigail. His love for sports, particularly football, baseball, and basketball, was evident to all who knew him. In every game he watched, Jesse found moments of excitement and shared camaraderie with his loved ones.

Among his beloved hobbies, Jesse was known for his knack for tinkering and his penchant for watching instructional YouTube videos to guide him through new projects. Always accompanied by his loyal dog, Chopper, he embraced life with enthusiasm and a spirit of adventure that inspired those around him.

A veteran of the United States Army, Jesse held a deep respect for his fellow servicemen and dedicated time to honor and support veterans and military causes.

Jesse is survived by his wife Judy Quillen, his children; Jessica (James) Quillen-Sigwerth, Nathan Quillen and Abigail Quillen, his parents; Marvin Quillen and Karen Cox, his siblings; Jeremy (Katrina) Quillen, Heidi Quillen and Jeff (Brandy) Quillen. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Jesse is preceded in death by his grandparents; Uda Dunbar, Rudy Ripoli, Ruth Quillen and Fred Quillen and his grandson Cameron Quillen.

Jesse's memory will forever live on in the hearts of his family, friends, and all who were touched by his warmth and kindness. His legacy of love, laughter, and dedication remains a beacon of light to those who were fortunate enough to have known him.

Funeral services for Jesse Wayne Quillen will be held at Evans Funeral Home, Goshen, on November 16, 2024. A visitation will take place at 10:00 AM, with the funeral service following at 11:30 AM. The burial will immediately follow at Myers Cemetery in Goshen. Together, we gather to honor his memory, celebrate his life, and cherish the moments shared with a remarkable man who touched so many souls. Jesse's spirit will forever remain a guiding light, shining brightly in our hearts.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Jesse's name to the Wounded Warrior Project.
