**Obituary for Jill Dianne Downey**

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Jill Dianne Downey, who left us on July 19, 2026, at the age of 79. Born on June 9, 1947, in Clermont County, Ohio, Jill was a cherished member of her community and a proud resident of Goshen, Ohio.

Jill was a hardworking woman who dedicated many years of her life to the corrugated box industry. But beyond her labor, she was known for her spirited love of family and her unwavering support of the Cincinnati Reds. On any given day, you could find her cheering for her favorite team or enjoying the delightful antics on the Game Show Network, each moment a testament to her vibrant personality.

Family was the heart and soul of Jill's life. She is survived by her loving husband, Lawrence Downey, and her son, Bob Saylor. Her legacy will live on through her grandchildren, Steven and Samantha Davidson, Ryan and Kari Saylor , and Thomas Saylor, along with her treasured great-grandchildren, Emmett and Charlotte Saylor. Jill also leaves behind her dear brother, Jack Baker, and sister-in-law Dorothy Baker, who will forever hold her memory close.

Jill had a passion for travel, embracing the joy of life through trips to Florida and other adventures. She adored spending time with her family, creating lasting memories that will warm our hearts for years to come.

Family and friends are invited to gather for a celebration of Jill's life on July 23, 2026. A visitation will be held at Evans Funeral Home in Goshen from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM, followed by a funeral service to honor her life at 11:30 AM.

As we say goodbye, let us remember Jill for her kindness, her laughter, and the love she shared so freely. Rest easy, Jill - your spirit will forever be with us.
