It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Jill Debra Murphy, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. Jill was born on June 9, 1955, in Cincinnati, Ohio, to the late Earl and Patsy (nee Angel) Hacker, and she spent her later years residing in the beautiful Panama City Beach, Florida.
Jill was a devoted family woman, who cherished her relationships with her husband, Larry, her children, and her beloved grandchildren more than anything in life. Her warmth and compassion were evident in every moment spent with her family, whether it was enjoying treasured weekends at the beach or sharing home cooked meals and quality time at home. Outside of her home, Jill worked for over 30 years at Gibson Greeting Cards.
A woman of simple pleasures, Jill found joy in shopping for the best bargains and never missed an opportunity to indulge in her favorite Hallmark Channel movies. Known for her sweet and gentle spirit, she was often seen with a smile that lit up the lives of those around her. Jill also had a deep love for her dogs, finding companionship and solace in their unwavering affection.
Jill is survived by her beloved husband of 40 years Larry W. Murphy; Loving mother of Taylor (Sarah) Murphy and Kara (Charles) Evans; Cherished grandmother of Mallory Murphy, Salehe Evans, Brantley Scales, and one on the way; Dear sister of Dennis Hacker and the late Pamela Ditto. Jill is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends. Jill's legacy of kindness, warmth, and unwavering love will forever be honored by her family and friends.
