Jo Ann Florence

Jo Ann Florence, 82, passed July 26, 2020. Born April 14, 1938 to J.W. Haufler and Anna Elizabeth Barlow Haufler in Cynthiana, Kentucky. She was the beloved wife of the late Larry David Florence; Loving mother of Danny Lee Florence, Owensville, OH; Kimberly (Ronnie) Dobbs, Milford OH; Todd (Kelly) Florence, Peoria, AZ and the late Mark Wayne Florence; Grandmother of Levi, Lucas, Noah, Zachariah, Jacob, Sara, Tyler, Nicholas, Nathan, Emily and Stephanie; Great grandmother of 15 with one more on the way; sister of Beth Cason, Oregonia, OH; Gary Haufler, Lexington, KY; the late Bobby Haufler, Cynthiana, KY and the late Jimmy Haufler, Morehead, KY. Also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
Jo Ann loved the beach, plants and travel. They took many family vacations to Myrtle Beach. She also enjoyed her work as a resident manager at SEM Terrace. She was a 3 time Breast Cancer Survivor.
Due to the COVID restrictions it has been requested that only close friends and relatives attend the services. A video of the service will be posted on the Evans Funeral Home website as soon as it is available. Memorials may be directed to the American Cancer Society.
