Jo Ann Freeman

Jo Ann Freeman age 78, of Harlan Township, Blanchester passed away, surrounded by her family, Friday August 3, 2018 at the University of Cincinnati Hospital. She was born January 30, 1940 in Clermont County the daughter of Charles and Millicent (nee Faul) Bricker. She was a graduate of Milford High School. On January 3, 1959 she married Donald Freeman while he was on leave from the service, and they enjoyed 59 years together. Jo Ann had a variety of positions over the years, secretary for the Goshen United Methodist Church, grocery clerk in Goshen, Haines Department Store in Blanchester, and she owned a craft store in Blanchester. She is survived by her husband, Donald, daughters and sons-in-law; Debbie & Ed Crowe, Lisa & Tracy Tucker, Christy & Jim Bishop, grandchildren; Andy & Alex Crowe, Anthony & Kristen Tucker, Austin & Blake Bishop, brothers & sisters-in-law; Doug & Sandra Bricker and David & Jane Bricker. Services will be 11:00 AM Wednesday, August 8, 2018 at the Goshen United Methodist Church, 6710 Goshen Rd. Goshen, 45122. Reverend Dave Pfaneuf will officiate. Burial will follow in the Plainview Cemetery in Wayne Township. Family and friends may visit Tuesday, 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the Evans Funeral Home, 1944 St. Rt. 28, Goshen.
