Joel J. Turner

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Joel Josiah Turner, who left us peacefully due to natural causes on May 25, 2025, in his hometown of Cincinnati, Ohio. He was 36 years old. Born on April 25, 1989, Joel was a proud graduate of Mariemont High School, where he made lasting memories and friendships.

Joel was known for his artistic talents, particularly his exceptional drawing abilities, and his passion for music, often seen strumming his guitar and losing himself in melodies. He loved working on puzzles and skateboarding, pursuits that reflected his adventurous spirit and creative mind. His vibrant personality and zest for life made him a cherished presence in the lives of those who knew him.

He is survived by his loving mother, Sandy (Gary) Froelich, and his siblings: Melissa (Dan) Turner, Sarah (Zach) Casto, Daniel (Amber) Turner, and Joshua (Kylee) Turner. He is also remembered fondly by his aunts Donna Morris, Cathy (Mike) Wiles, and Margie (Chuck) Spruiell. Joel was a devoted son, caring brother, and friend to many; his willingness to help others and the love he shared will forever resonate within all the lives he touched.

Private services will be held at a later date.

Though we grieve the untimely loss of Joel, we take solace in the beautiful memories we shared. We love him and miss him deeply, and he will forever hold a special place in our hearts.
