John Henry Baker

John Henry Baker, a beloved husband, father, and friend, passed away peacefully in Blanchester, Ohio, on January 24, 2025, at the age of 91. Born on July 5, 1933, in Alexandria, Kentucky, John lived a life filled with love, hard work, and a deep appreciation for the outdoors.

John graduated high school and dedicated an impressive 30 years to the Village of Indian Hill's water department. He took pride in his work, never straying far from his roots that often led back to farming and the simple joy of tending to the land. He spent many happy hours outdoors, cultivating a love for the natural world that he instilled in his family. Whether he was working the fields or enjoying time with his cherished cats and dogs, John's zest for life was evident.

Married to his beloved wife, Betty, for an extraordinary 66 years, John created a family filled with warmth and laughter. He was the proud father of Beverly Gregory and Daniel Baker, grandfather to Jessica Gregory, and great-grandfather to little Isabella Gregory. He is also survived by his sister, Opal Parsons. John's family was his greatest source of pride, and he cherished every moment spent with them.

Friends and family are invited to attend the funeral service at Evans Funeral Home 1944 Ohio 28 Goshen, Ohio starting at noon, preceded by a visitation starting at 11 AM. Burial to follow at Graceland Memorial Gardens.
