Jack Smith

John “Jack” C. Smith was born on November 20, 1930, to the late Honor C. and Fern (nee Hendrickson) Smith. Beloved husband of Anne Bradrick; Loving father of John (Trina) Smith, Mindy (Gary) Wargowsky, and Rob Alan (Sara) Smith; Grandfather of Summer Smith, Don Wargowsky, Jessica Smith, Connor Smith and Honor Kinney; Dear brother of Frances June Rollin. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Along with his parents, Jack was preceded in death by his wife of 58 years, Marian Smith.

Jack was an active and very involved member of the Christ Presbyterian Church of Milford. He was also a UC alumnus and kept up with the various sports affiliated with the school. Jack’s passion was carpentry and building things with his hands. As his children grew, he even built a couple houses that he and his family lived in throughout the years. Jack had many other hobbies, such as traveling, playing tennis, and watching musicals.

Jack passed away on July 22, 2023, at the age of 92. Resident of Milford, Ohio. Family and friends will be received on August 4, 2023, at Christ Presbyterian Church from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM. The funeral service will be held the next day on Saturday, August 5, 2023, beginning at 12:30 PM. Burial will follow at Graceland Memorial Gardens – 5989 Deerfield Road, Milford, OH 45150.
