John Terry Foote

John Terry died on April 8, 2025 and is survived by his wife of 64 years, Patricia, and three children Philip Foote, Mary Keller and Jennifer Marcil. He enjoyed 8 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Born in Chicago August 5, 1934, his parents were Jean Terry and Edward L. Foote. The family moved to Wyoming, Ohio when he was a young boy.

John served in the United States Air Force and was a Korean War veteran, receiving many medals including the Bronze Star. After graduating from Xavier University in Cincinnati he continued his post-graduate studies and earned multiple master's degrees. He taught in the Norwood School System for over 30 years and also taught and certified Water Safety Training Instructors for the Red Cross. He was always an avid tennis player and enjoyed hunting, as well.

Family and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Mass to honor John on Friday, May 16, 2025, at 1:00 PM at St. Gertrude Church - 6543 Miami Ave, Cincinnati, OH 45243.
