John F. Kushner

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of John Francis Kushner, who left this world on November 24, 2024, surrounded by his loved ones at the age of 60. John was born in Rochester, NY on March 3, 1964, to Alice (nee Manning) Kushner and the late Edward A. Kushner.

John was the beloved husband of 39 years to Erin J. (nee O'Connor) Kushner; Loving father of Ryan Kushner and Zachary Kushner; Cherished grandpa of Zoey, Meaa, and Lala Kushner; Dear brother of Steve (Lorie) Kushner, George (Lynn) Kushner, Edward (Pattie) Kushner, Ken (Denise) Kushner, Tom (Cathy) Kushner, Laura Kushner, and the late Martha Kushner. John is survived by many nieces, nephews, and dear friends.

John was a kind and generous soul who brought laughter and joy to all those around him. His sense of humor could light up any room, and his giving nature touched the lives of many. John had a passion for collecting petro antiques and spent over three decades enjoying life on his 25-acre farm, where he found solace working in his greenhouse and caring for animals.

As the owner of his own landscaping company, "Kushner's Lawn Care and Landscape," John took great pride in his work and found fulfillment in creating beautiful outdoor spaces for his clients.

More than anything, John treasured his time with family, creating lasting memories with his children and grandchildren on the farm. He shared his love for crafts and working in the greenhouse, teaching them to pot flowers and take care of the animals. He instilled a passion for nature that will endure for generations to come.

A funeral service to honor and remember John's life will be held on Saturday, November 30, 2024 at 10:30 AM - Evans Funeral Home 1944 OH-28, 45122. Visitation will be held from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM. Burial will follow at Spurling Cemetery in Harlan township.
