John R. Puthoff

John R. Puthoff, husband of the late Ruth Helen Puthoff, devoted father of Steven (Lanita) Puthoff, Michael (Deborah) Puthoff, Jennifer (Richard) Setser, Paul (Julie) Puthoff and Mary Beth Calendine, loving grandfather of the late Adam, Andrew, Samantha, Alixandra, Miranda, Christopher, Nathaniel, Jacob, Joshua, Connor, Molly and Nicholas, great-grandfather of 5, son of the late Albert and Margaret Puthoff, dear brother of the late Ralph, the late Mary, Robert "Duke", Suzanne (Rod), Richard (Stephanie), Joanne, Roger (Debbie), Victoria (Michael), Raymond (Linda) and Gregory (Tammy), also survived by many loving nieces, nephews and a host of friends. Passed away on July 23, 2021 at the age of 81 years.

John was a strong, loving and kind father, grandfather, great grandfather, husband and brother. After John retired, he found a new love as an educator and his St Louis church and school family meant the world to him. When people speak about John you often hear words like respect, kind, strong and patient. His family friends and students will tell you that not only did they learn from John but that they are a better person today because of having spent time with him. "Alway remember to be kind"

Family will receive friends at St. Louis Church 201 N Broadway Street, Owensville, Ohio 45160, on Saturday, July 31st from 9:30 AM until time of the Mass of Christian Burial service beginning at 11:30 AM. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the St. Louis Church or the St. Louis School.
