Jack Rentschler

April 28, 1939 — August 31, 2025

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of John Charles Rentschler, lovingly known as "Jack", who departed this life peacefully on August 31, 2025, at the age of 86. He was born on April 28, 1939, in Cincinnati, OH, to the late Jacob and Florence (nee Jones) Rentschler.

Jack served honorably in the United States Marines, an experience that shaped his admirable work ethic and unwavering sense of duty. He devoted over 20 years to his role as a collision estimator at Property Damage Appraisers, where his meticulous nature and attention to detail made him a respected figure in the heavy equipment industry. Jack took immense pride in his work and approached every task with dedication and diligence.

Jack was a devoted member of the Fastiques classic car club, where he shared his passion for vintage automobiles and forged lasting friendships. He also had a love for gardening and outdoor work.

A man of few words, Jack was quietly particular and appreciated the beauty in having a routine, embodying a life of simplicity and discipline. He possessed a penchant for sharing corny dad jokes, which brought laughter and warmth to those around him.

Jack was the beloved husband of 65 years to Carol D. (nee Rudisell) Rentschler; Loving father of Rick Rentschler, Sheri Rentschler, and Suzanne Fagaly; Dear grandfather of 6; Cherished brother of Ken Rentschler and the late Tom Rentschler.
