John Washko

John F. Washko, 84 years old of Milford, Ohio beloved husband of Ivetta Washko for 63 years. John was born in Duquesne, PA. He was the son of John and Margaret Washko. John was a teacher of 47 years. He taught one year in Kentucky, three years in West Virginia and 43 in Ohio. He was an active member of Tri County Assembly of God, Fairfield, Ohio. He went to be with the Lord March 3, 2021 at 8:43 pm

John and Ivetta are the parents of John B. Washko of Saint Charles, IL. Lora L. (Washko) Andriot of Milford and of Anna M. Washko who now resides with her father in heaven. They are the grandparents of three granddaughters and four grandsons and great grandparents of 3 boys and 1 girl. John loved each of them with all his heart. In truth he thought of his students as his kids and was full of pride when he saw them fulfill their dreams. When you were with him he would make you feel like you were the most important person in the world. If he thought you had greater potential than you were striving for he would encourage you to dream bigger, reach higher go beyond your own expectations.

For all of those gifts you brought to us you will be missed Coach Washko.

Family will receive friends at the Tri County Assembly of God Church, 7350 Dixie Hwy, Fairfield, OH. 45014, on Monday, March 8th from 4-6 PM. Funeral services will be held at the church on Tuesday beginning at 11 AM. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Cemetery in Milford.
