Johnny Kenneth Rogers, born on September 12, 1938, in Corbin, Kentucky, passed away peacefully on March 8, 2025, in Loveland, Ohio, at the age of 86. A beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend, Kenny will be remembered for his warm heart, infectious smile, and the way he never met a stranger.
Kenny's love for life was evident in every conversation he had. He had a gift for storytelling, always ready to share a laugh or a piece of wisdom with those fortunate enough to cross his path. His greatest joy came from spending time with his family, particularly his grandchildren-Isaac, Andrew, Joseph (Lydia), and Maria-who were the lights of his life. Soon to be a great-grandfather, Kenny eagerly anticipated the arrival of his first great-grandchild this May.
As a lifetime member of the First Baptist Church of Loveland, Kenny found deep fulfillment in his faith and dedication to his community. He was actively involved in church activities, where he made countless friends and left a lasting impression on everyone he met.
Kenny is survived by his loving wife, Shirley Rogers, his cherished daughter, Debbie Roell, and son-in-law, Karl Roell, and his grandchildren listed above. He also leaves behind his brother, Carl (Zelma) Rogers, sister-in-law, Joann Rogers, and brother-in-law, Bill Davis, who will carry his memory close to their hearts.
Family and friends will gather to celebrate Kenny's life during a visitation at Evans Funeral Home in Goshen on March 13, 2025, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A funeral service will be held the following day, March 14, 2025, at 10:00 AM, at the same location.
Kenny will be dearly missed but forever remembered in the hearts of those who loved him. Rest in peace, dear Kenny; your stories will continue to live on in our hearts.
