It is with profound sadness that we, the family of Jonathon Edward Cochran announce his peaceful passing in his Pleasant Plain home on Thursday, December 30, 2021 at the age of 56 years.
He was born in Wilmington, Ohio on January 17, 1965.
He is survived by his loving wife of 37 years Tammy (White) Cochran, daughter Tiffany (Timmy) Barr, grandchildren Taylynn and Devon Barr, his mother Janet Hadley, father David (Yvonne) Cochran, his brother Jeff (Bev) Cochran, his stepsister Susan (Parker) Bebee, his mother-in-law JoAnn (Bill) Moore, sister-in-law Barbie (Terry) Davis, brother-in-law Bill White, and many nieces, nephews and numerous friends. He will be greatly missed.
He was predeceased by his step father, Donald Hadley. His grandparents Thomas and Mildred Gammell, his grandparents Richard and Annabelle Cochran, his aunt Kathy Cochran, his step sister Nancy Hadley, his father-in-law; William White, brother-in-law Roy White, sister-in-law Gloria (White) Combs and her husband Terry Combs.
Jon worked as a pressman at Curliss Printing for his entire work career. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and enjoyed spending time with family and friends. He was always jovial and could be quite the prankster. He had a special relationship with his little girl, Tiffany; from one-on-one time to coaching her in sports. She was his pride and joy.
A Visitation will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, January 5, 2022 at Evans Funeral Home 1944 State Route 28, Goshen, Ohio 45122 followed by a Funeral Service at 1:00 p.m. Graveside Services will follow at Edwardsville Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, Memorial Donations may be made in Jon Cochran's name to the ASPCA (American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals, 520 8th Avenue, New York, NY 10018.
