Joseph Wallace Dollenmayer

Joseph Wallace Dollenmayer of Goshen Ohio passed away peacefully Friday, December 11, 2020 at age 94 after spending his final days surrounded by the love of his family. Beloved husband of the late Frances (nee Lowder) Dollenmayer and Elizabeth (nee Turner) Dollenmayer and preceded in death by his parents Joe and Mae Dollenmayer, his son Jerry Dollenmayer and brothers Bob and Bill Dollenmayer. Loving Father of Brian (Sherry) Dollenmayer, Randy (Beverly) Dollenmayer, Sandy Hargis and the late Jerry Dollenmayer; and Grandfather of 17 Grandchildren and 12 Great Grandchildren, Stepfather of Mary Lee (John) Dooloukas, Steve (Carol) Culberston and Barbara (Charlie) Barger. Joe was a Navy Veteran and a retired Teamster. He was good friends to many and enjoyed cattle farming, gardening, fishing, hunting, bluegrass music and was a true artist at butchering meat. Due to the Covid pandemic, private visitation will take place at Evans Funeral Home, Milford Tuesday, December 15, 2020 12:00-1:00 p.m. Friends and Family are welcome to join Graveside services at 1:30 p.m. at Plainview Cemetery, 6000 OH-727, Newtonsville, OH. Jim Wise will officiate. Prior to arrival at cemetery, friends and family are also welcomed to stand roadside to pay their respects as Joe passes his beloved farm during procession to cemetery led by his tractors.
