Joseph Earl Johnson Sr.

Joseph Earl Johnson Sr., son of the late Earl Johnson and Tansom Stone Johnson, beloved husband to the late Sylvia Schaffer Johnson, passed on to be with our Lord and Savior, Monday, May 18th at the fruitful age of 86.

Joe was a loving and devoted father to son Joseph Johnson Jr., daughter Laura Johnson Philhower and son-in-law Charles "Chuck" Philhower. His legacy will live on in his four wonderful grandchildren, Joshua Johnson, Jared Johnson and Vance and Jacqui Philhower and two great-grandchildren Elijah Bacon and Madelynn Philhower.

Joe was preceded in death by his five brothers Wayne, Mervin, Mark, James and Francis and leaves behind his loving sister Virginia Johnson Coffman.

Joe was a life long resident and graduate of Milford. Held a masters degree in engineering from the University of Cincinnati and retired from Cincinnati Milacron.

Joe was involved in many civic groups (Boy Scouts, Lions Club, Zoning Boards and the Masons) enjoyed time with his friends and family and lived life to the leeds. He will be loved and missed by all who knew him.

Family will receive friends at the Evans Funeral Home in Milford, on Thursday, May 21st from 10 AM until time of funeral services beginning at 11:30 AM.
