Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Joseph Bertram Krimmer, who left this world peacefully on August 2, 2026, at the age of 85. Born on September 17, 1940, in Cincinnati, Ohio, Joseph was a devoted husband, loving father, beloved brother, and cherished grandfather who touched the lives of everyone around him with his warmth and kindness.

Joseph was a proud veteran who served in the U.S. Air Force, demonstrating his unwavering dedication to his country. After his years of service, he went on to lead a fulfilling career in the communication industry. He spent many years as a telecommunications and digital switching expert with, Western Electric, Cinnati Bell, Wireless Systems Solutions, as well as lending his artistic talent to Gibson Greeting Cards. His creativity and commitment to excellence left a lasting mark on all those who worked alongside him.

Beyond his professional accomplishments, Joseph was deeply devoted to his greatest love, his wife, Sharon Krimmer. Together they created a warm and loving home, where they nurtured their three children: Joseph (Amy) Krimmer, Jennifer Acton, and Richard (Christine) Krimmer. He relished every moment spent with his grandchildren-Ricki, Joshua, Christopher, Kira (Tony) Griggs, Wyatt, and Molly-and also enjoyed time with his great-grandchildren, Harmony and Hope. Joseph is also survived by his siblings: twin Frank (Shirley) Krimmer, Mary Ritter, Annie (Bob) Schehr, Linda Meagher, Barbie (Bob) Hursh, and Monica (John) Drees. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Sharon, parents Frank & Teresa Krimmer, son-in-law Scott Acton, and his fur buddy Fred the cat. Joseph was a family man at heart, never met a stranger and his legacy of love will continue to shine brightly through his family.

Joseph enjoyed spending his leisure time tent camping, boating, meticulously manicuring his lawn, and helping others. He cherished the vacations spent at Dale Hollow, where memories were made and stories were shared. His passion for all types of music, his love of life, and people was infectious. Providing those around him with countless moments of joy.

As we gather to celebrate his life, we invite all who knew and loved Joe to join us in remembrance.

Events honoring Joseph's life will take place with a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church on August 11, 2026, at 9:30 AM. Visitation will be held at Evans Funeral Home in Milford on August 10, 2026, from 6-8PM. He will be laid to rest at Gate of Heaven Cemetery.

May his soul rest in peace, and may his memory forever remain a beacon of love and inspiration for all who knew him.
