It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Joseph Michael "Mike" Moore, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend, who left this world peacefully on October 2, 2025, at the age of 75. Mike was born on February 17, 1950, and spent his life dedicating himself to his family, his country, and his numerous passions.
Mike was a proud veteran who served his country honorably in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. After his military service, he continued to serve in the Ohio Air National Guard, where he carried out his duties with pride and commitment finally retiring after 24 years. Professionally, Mike had a fulfilling career that spanned over 40 years with Cincinnati Bell, later known as Altafiber. His work ethic and dedication earned him the respect of his colleagues and the admiration of those he served. Known affectionately as "Mr. Fix It," Mike possessed a unique talent for woodworking, riding his motorcycle, playing golf, target practice, and re-purposing anything that others deemed unusable.
