Joseph C. Schneider, Jr.

Joseph C. Schneider Jr. passed away on Saturday, July 23rd, 2022 at the age of 65. Beloved husband of 40 years to Vicki Osborne Schneider, devoted father to Richard Schneider and Laura (Wesley) Stobart; dear brother to Rick (Denice) Schneider; loving son-in-law to Mary Osborne; caring brother-in-law to Nick (Theresa) Osborne; kind nephew to Doris (Raymond) Gross. Joe will also be missed by his niece, Taryn (Tim Hanrahan) Osborne and nephew Cameron (Angie) Osborne and their children, Tyler, Sean and Sicily. He was preceded in death by his parents, Dorothy Schneider and Joseph C. Schneider Sr., and his father-in-law, Claude Osborne. Joe graduated from the University of Cincinnati School of Pharmacy in 1979. He was an avid Cincinnati Sports fan, especially the Bearcats. During his retirement he enjoyed spending time with family, traveling, hiking, the Cincinnati Nature Center, NASCAR and hot sauce. He was in his “Happy Place” when he was volunteering at the League for Animal Welfare in Batavia, Ohio. He was dedicated to the shelter and made it his mission to find each animal a furr-ever home. A visitation will be held Friday, July 29th, 2022, from 10 a.m. until time of funeral service at 11:00 a.m. at Evan’s Funeral Home- Milford 741 Center Street Milford, OH 45150. The family kindly requests, in lieu of flowers, a donation be made in Joe’s honor to the League for Animal Welfare. Donations can be made online at www.LFAW.org.
