Joseph Albert Thomayer

Joseph Albert Thomayer, age 93 of Milford passed away Sunday, May 28, 2023 at the Traditions of Deerfield in Loveland.

He was born August 29, 1929 in Milford, the son of Joseph H. and Pauline (nee Erhardt) Thomayer. His wife, Charlotte

(nee Spaeth) Thomayer preceded him in death April 7, 2022. He was a member of the National Guard. Joe was in auto

sales for many years before his retirement. He loved hunting of any kind, deer, duck, turkey, pheasant and when he couldn't hunt,

he loved to fish. Spending time outdoors made him happy. He is survived by his children; Bridget (Mark) Marthaler, Paul (Marci) Thomayer,

Kurt (Tami) Thomayer, Chris (Michael) Mroz, Joseph H. Thomayer, and Mike Thomayer, grandchildren; Matthew (Lindsay) Thomayer,

Meagan (Greg) DeSpain, Dylan Mroz, Colton Mroz,, Paul (Nikki) Thomayer II, and Ray Thomayer, Lindsay Thomayer-Miller, and

Pamela Thomayer, great-grandchildren; Easton Thomayer, Tanner Thomayer, Tenley Thomayer, Paisley Thomayer, Palmer DeSpain,

Parker DeSpain, Jade Thomayer, Christian Thomayer, Mason Thomayer, Cameron Thomayer, Gage Thomayer, Gracen Thomayer

and Gavin Thomayer, and numerous nieces and nephews. Along with his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings;

Betty (Bob) Smith, Mildred (Glenn) Cooper, Viola Ziegenhardt-Jordan and Margaret (George) Lay. Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 AM,

Tuesday, June 6, 2023, at the St. Andrew Church, 552 Main St. Milford, Ohio 45150. A visitation for family and friends will be 9:30 to 10:30 AM

at the Evans Funeral Home, Milford. Burial will follow in the St. Andrew Cemetery. His family request that memorials be made to

St. Andrew Church or to the Alzheimer’s Association.
